Terms of Service

Last updated May 29, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using any tool on Tells (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Tells is

Tells is a set of AI-assisted tools for analyzing conversations, screenshots, and behavioral patterns. Outputs are generated by large language models and are intended as informational assistance, not professional advice. The Service is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind.

3. Your account

You're responsible for your account credentials and for any activity that happens under your account. Pick a strong password. Don't share your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, defame, threaten, or harm another person.
  • Upload content you don't have the right to share, or that violates someone else's privacy.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or programmatically abuse the Service.
  • Use the Service to produce content that breaks the law in your jurisdiction.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose the Service to third parties through your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

5. Credits and plans

Free accounts start with 3 credits. Additional credits and subscriptions can be purchased. Credits don't expire on one-time purchases. Pro subscription benefits end when the subscription is canceled or revoked.

6. Refunds and cancellations

All sales are final. We don't offer refunds on any purchase — including credit packs, Pro subscriptions, or Lifetime access. Before you buy, you can try every tool on the free plan, which includes 3 credits at no cost.

Subscriptions. You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, then reverts to the free plan. We don't pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a paid period.

Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we'll revoke the associated access and credits while the dispute is resolved. We may decline to reinstate the account afterward.

When something genuinely breaks. If you've paid for credits and the Service prevented you from using them due to a fault on our end (extended outage, bug charging the wrong amount, etc.), reach out. We'll work it out on a case-by-case basis — usually by restoring credits rather than issuing a refund.

7. AI outputs

Outputs from the Service are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. You're responsible for how you use any output produced by the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tells and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, for abuse of the Service, or for any reason with notice.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
