The short version

We don't store the content you paste, type, or upload. Your screenshots, messages, spending data, and any other inputs are processed in memory only and discarded as soon as we've sent back a response.

What we collect

To run an account, we keep the minimum amount of information required:

  • Your name and email — for sign-in, support, and receipts.
  • A hashed password — we never see your real password; it's passed through bcrypt before storage.
  • Your credit balance and plan— so we know what you're entitled to use.
  • Billing event records— the Polar checkout ID, plan, and credits granted. We do not store payment card details. Card data is handled by our payment processor, Polar.

What we don't store

  • The screenshots you upload.
  • The chat snippets, situations, or messages you paste.
  • Your spending data, confessions, or scenario inputs.
  • The AI-generated responses we send back.

All of the above is held in memory only for the duration of your request and is gone once we've responded.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It's HTTP-only, sent only to our own domain, and contains nothing more than a signed reference to your user ID. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third parties

We rely on two service providers:

  • OpenAI processes the content you submit in order to generate a response. Their handling of that data is governed by OpenAI's API policies.
  • Polar processes payments when you buy credits or upgrade. We never see your card.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Doing so removes your email, name, password hash, credits, and plan from our database. There's no input history to delete because we never stored it.
